Yes.If your child or other dependent is under 18 and covered by your plan, they can have a Well Connection visit. To have a video doctor visit for your underage child or dependent, create your own profile first. Once you’ve selected a doctor, you’ll be asked who the visit is for. There, you can enter your child’s information for the visit. If your child or dependent is over 18, they should set up their own account through MyBlue.

Your state is used to match you up with doctors who are licensed in that area. If you travel to a new state, please ensure that you enable location services on your mobile device. Or if using the web experience, update your current location before choosing your service.

If your visit is interrupted for any reason, the provider can use this number to call you back and finish your conversation. They may also want to follow up with you after your visit.

Absolutely. We make sure all doctors and providers maintain private and secure online access. That means your visits are always safe and confidential. All video doctor visits are treated in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

No, but always let your primary care provider (PCP) know about any care you get from online doctors or other providers. Your PCP may want to speak with you about the care you received, based on your medical history.

The doctors and providers in the Well Connection national network are licensed and pre-screened for quality and care, to help ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment, along with the personal touch you’d get in an office setting.

After your video doctor visit ends, you’ll receive a summary of the visit in your Well Connection inbox. You may choose to share it with your PCP by email or by printing a copy and sending it to them.

This isn't common, but in some instances your employer, health plan, or provider may give you a code to enter when you first enroll in Well Connection. If you didn’t receive a code, just leave this field blank.
